GAA: Tyrone advance to quarter final with victory over Sligo
The Red Hands were rarely in danger of losing the contest against the Connacht side, taking a six point lead in at the interval.
Led up front by the in-form Darren McCurry, Tyrone began the better of the two sides, scoring almost at will in the first half.

Pat Hughes and Mark Breheny helped to keep Sligo in touch but Tyrone always had another gear.
A strong period midway through the second half helped put the game to bed, McCurry and Cavanagh on target, as Tyrone ran out comfortable winners.
They will now meet Monaghan in Croke Park on Saturday at 4pm.
