First international goal for Jack as trials beckon
It was all they needed for a 1-0 victory over Scotland and gives NI four points from their opening two Victory Shield games, after a 0-0 stalemate with RoI on Sunday.

“We probably edged it in creating chances and had a goal disallowed.
“Hopefully, we go on to to get maximum points in beating Wales and Scotland later this week but they will probably be tougher opponents than the Republic of Ireland.”
Chambers, who has already represented his country against the likes of Belgium and Poland, is hoping he will catch the eye of some more scouts this week, leading to even more trials in England and Scotland.

“We’re already four points ahead at the top and we have a game in hand on most of the others.”
