Three arrested after police chase leads to crash at Silverwood, Lurgan
The PSNI said three males have been arrested after the vehicle they were following was involved in a crash at Silverwood.
A police helicopter was involved in the pursuit of the vehicle which was stolen in Belfast.

Hide AdPolice and the NI Ambulance Service are still at the scene of the crash close to the petrol station.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “Police have arrested three males after a suspected stolen car was involved in an RTC on the Silverwood Road in Lurgan this afternoon, Thursday 27 August.
“At around 2.30pm Police observed the vehicle on the Ligoniel Road in North Belfast. The vehicle failed to stop for Police and collided with a police vehicle on Thornberry Road before making off.
“The Police helicopter was used to track the movements of the vehicle to Lurgan where it was involved in a collision with two vehicles on Silverwood Road.

Hide Ad“The three males, aged 15, 26 and 29 have been arrested on suspicion of a number of motoring offences and are currently in custody assisting police with their enquiries.
“The Silverwood Road has been closed between Kiln Lane and Tanaghmore Gardens while police investigate the road traffic collision.”
It is understood two cars and a van were involved in the incident which happened just before 3pm.
The NI Ambulance Service said a rapid response vehicle was despatched and was at the scene within five minutes.

Hide AdTwo ambulances and a Patient Care Service vehicle were also despatched.
A NI Ambulance Service spokesperson said that five people have been injured.
It is understood their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
