A former Rathfriland High School pupil, Courtney McMullen, has been recognised at the 2016 CEA Awards Ceremony for her outstanding commitment towards Occupational Studies whilst studying at SRC Newry.

Senior teacher at Rathfriland High, Mr D Barron, said: “Courtney was an extremely hard working pupil during her time spent there.

“She excelled at her four chosen courses, particularly Chilcare, gained very pleasing marks in each of her option choice classes and was recognised at the Banbridge Area and Learning Community Awards Ceremony in May 2015 by achieving the highest mark out of all of the Rathfriland High School pupils studying Occupational Studies.
