Foyle Valley Athletics Club is in mourning this morning, after news that club mate Colm ‘Packy’ Deehan died suddenly.

The hugely popular runner who was a keen footballer in his day, playing for Top of the Hill and Gransha, worked at Stradreagh Hospital.

The 51-year-old Waterside man, who was chairman of Foyle Valley AC, passed away at his home this morning.
