Step on Stage club’s boost for charity
The Step on Stage club provides an opportunity for young people to showcase their acting and vocal talents raising money in the process for good causes. Last year – the first time the club raised money for charity – Cystic Fibrosis were the recipients.
This time round it was the Alzheimer’s Society and on Monday night of last week, lead fundraiser, Sharon Neely and her colleague, Ann-Marie Moore visited Dunloy Presbyterian Church hall to receive a cheque for £1001.23.

Step on Stage founders, Rebecca Calderwood and Heather Loughridge, said they were delighted at the amount raised and looked forward to the next two events the proceeds of which have been earmarked for the Northern Ireland Cancer fund for Children.
Both Rebecca and Heather praised the effort of the young people in the club and there was also praise from Ann-Marie and Sharon. Ann-Marie outlined the work of Alzheimer’s Society in the Province.
