Icy dip raises £1,650 for Marie Curie
The sun was shining and water was cold as a great turnout gathered in Cushendun, with some stripping off to take to the waters and others staying wrapped up to cheer on the ‘swimmers’ from the warmth of the beach – it was clear to see there was a great buzz about.
Briege Hamilton who organised the event told us.
“I couldn’t have asked for more, the event was organised to remember those from our local community who have been lost to cancer, to celebrate the survivors and to raise money for Marie Curie.

Lets hope next year is bigger and better!”
