Glarryford’s epic bath push
The marathon effort started bright and early on Saturday, May 24 at the young farmers hall with a bunch of energetic and eager young farmers heading towards Cullybackey.
Taking turns, the bath was pushed from village to village, covering just under 30 miles, including Galgorm, Ahoghill, Portglenone, Rasharkin and finally stopping in Ballymoney for the evening.

Crowds were out in full force and with plenty of encouragement and cheering from the onlookers, the team powered their way into Portrush where they stopped for the evening.
On the last day there were plenty of sore and tired feet so lots of encouragement was required for the push up the hills out of Portrush on the first stage of a 23 mile homeward bound trip.
On arrival at Glarryford Young Farmers hall the team were greeted by friends and family who had provided a surprise feast to replenish their depleated energy stored.
