Cookstown woman’s head shave raises £3,500 for Alzheimer’s
With the help and support of her mum, Daphne, Gemma held a sponsored head shave in the Royal Hotel, Cookstown in February.
Gemma would like to thank all the local businesses who very generously contributed to the night, their support has been fantastic.

“My granny, Lottie Hazelton, lived with Alzheimer’s disease,” said Gemma.
“ I am overwhelmed by the number of people who have made a donation to make up the final amount of £3550. A big thanks to my mum, Daphne Wylie, for her support in organising the night.’

Hide Ad“Unfortunately Gemma’s granny died shortly after the event, but we hope the money raised will help others living with dementia continue to live well in their community with access to the relevant services.”
