Castaways cause a stir with eclectic sound
The Castaways are all experienced local musicians who have played in various bands over the years and have now decided to create a sound going back to their roots, playing completely live music.
The band, consisting by Eric Thompson, Eddie Blake, Bill Saunderson, Bill Liddle and Robert Rice, specialise in an eclectic mix of 60s and 70s classics of rock, pop, R&B and harmony sounds.

Hide AdThey are often accompanied by local singer Noelle Thompson, who brings a blues edge to the sound.
Guitarist Bill Liddle told the Times: “We have been well received at our recent gigs and are really having fun playing live.”
