A year of lockdown for new city centre shop the Wool Nook
Over the last year owner Susan McEvoy has been making sure local crafters get their much needed supplies by carrying out deliveries and posting out orders. Howwever, she is now looking forward to welcoming customers back into the shop, which will reopen on April 30.
“We only opened last February so we have no idea what a normal year is like,” admitted Susan, “A lot of people were very grateful for the delivery service because they said it helped with their mental health to be working on crafts,”

Hide AdSusan has thanked everyone who has supported the business over the last year and she is looking forward to welcoming everyone back through the doors of the Wool Nook. “Shops are the lifeblood of the town,” she continued. “If you have no small independent shops then what is left? People have told us they would rather shop local and keep the money in Northern Ireland. People have been grateful for local shops and once we get the doors open again we will be delighted to welcome customers back.”
