Carrickfergus Castle under siege in spectacular re-enactment
Carrickfergus Castle is set to be under siege in a spectacular re-enactment of the 1690 landing of King William III.
It will see history come alive in the grounds of the historic castle in a free event for all the family next Wednesday, July 13, from 12-4pm.
Re-enactors are pictured launching the event, organised by Mid and East Antrim Borough Council, which will see feature living history encampments and historic re-enactments at the Castle Green.
